YMC America, Inc. (formerly Seika Corporation of America) was formed in July 2004 as a Pennsylvania corporation designed to offer separation products and services associated with the purification of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds.
Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, YMC America is a full service liquid chromatography company offering sales, service, technical product support, applications assistance and contract synthesis and purification services.
YMC America's client list includes all of the major pharmaceutical producers, most major biopharmaceutical companies and many medium to smaller pharma and biotech firms. The company is experienced in supplying the know-how to lend support to its client's discovery and product development needs as well as providing separation technologies for all scales of product manufacturing. Furthermore, YMC America, Inc. is experienced in providing any and all documentation relating to the regulatory needs of its clients.
July 2004
Formed as Seika Corporation of America, the company begins operations as a Pennsylvania Corporation in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
October 2006
The company moves to expanded office and laboratory space adjacent to the ABE International Airport in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
January 2008
Seika Corporation of America changes its name to YMC America, Inc. to better reflect its affiliation as a wholly owned subsidiary of YMC Co., Ltd.
