Hybrid silica based columns ranging from UHPLC to prep

Triart Columns

YMC-Triart phases are based on organic/inorganic hybrid particles that combine the high mechanical stability and efficiency of a silica-based packing material with the robust chemical stability of a polymer-based packing material. This versatile resin is produced using tightly controlled particle formation technology adapted from micro-reactor technology. The resulting uniform particle and pore size distributions as well as the smooth surface greatly contribute to excellent peak shape and separation reproducibility. In addition, YMC-Triart materials are highly resilient and robust when used at extreme pH, elevated temperature, and high pressure.

With high-level performance in a wide range of conditions, YMC-Triart is considered an ideal first choice column for method development.

Available Formats

Bonded YMC-Triart phases are available in 1.9 µm UHPLC as well as 3 and 5 µm analytical particle sizes, with several preparative options in 10 µm and higher.

All materials can be purchased in prepacked columns and guards as well as various quantities of bulk resin.

Column/guard sizes include*:

  • Capillary (< 1 mm ID)
  • Analytical (1.0 – 8.0 mm ID)
  • Preparative (10 mm ID & above)

YMC-Triart columns can be packed in multiple types of hardware for even further flexibility.

  • YMC-Accura columns with bioinert coating
  • PEEK-lined stainless steel columns
