YMC’s UHPLC column offerings are based on our Triart particle, which is a novel, multi-layered, organic/inorganic hybrid material.  Users of Triart are not limited by the usual constraints of pH, temperature, or pressure.  Triart is recognized for its mechanical and chemical durability, making it ideal for application at elevated temperature, high pressure, and over a wide pH range.

YMC Fast LC Columns

YMC-UltraHT is a highly efficient 2µm, totally porous, silica-based C18 material specifically designed for high-speed and high throughput analyses.  UltraHT consists of two products: Pro C18 (our standard ODS material) and Hydrosphere C18 (designed for the separation of hydrophilic/polar compounds).  Both show the same selectivity and superior peak shapes as 3µm and 5µm Pro series columns, allowing for easy method transfer from conventional HPLC to ultra-fast HPLC without changing elution conditions.

YMC Meteoric Core are superficially-porous stationary phases offering outstanding resolution for UHPLC and HPLC analyses. These columns can be used over a wide pH range, providing excellent peak shape for basic and coordination compounds, enabling smoother and more robust method development. Meteoric Core columns reduce backpressure by half when compared to sub-2µm columns while offering similar resolution and analysis time.
