ECOPLUS glass columns are multi-purpose for almost all types of liquid chromatography applications (pressure limit 30 – 80bar). They are available in two forms: AB (aqueous buffer) for aqueous buffer and cold room applications and SR (solvent resistant) for normal and reversed phase chromatography. Adjustable length plungers at both ends and a totally inert triple chevron sealing system (SR versions) support the complete spectrum of applications from classical normal phase and reversed phase chromatography right through to biochromatography. The Quick-Lock connection system makes it possible to open and seal the column simply and quickly.

Pilot columns are designed for use in pilot and production scale applications with organic solvents (SR version) or aqueous buffers (AB version), which makes them suitable for all common methods in chromatography including normal phase, reversed phase or biochromatography. High precision CNC manufacturing of plungers and distribution plates provides outstanding flow distribution for a linear flow distribution profile. Precise and reliable bed height adjustment can be achieved by hand wheel adjusters on the plunger. The variety of mounting options includes a fixed stand, wheeled trolley, or direct attachment to plant. All materials are in compliance with FDA regulations; certification and full documentation are available for validation purposes on request.

YMC PilotPLUS is the new standard for your pilot scale applications. The column is compatible with common BioLC separation modes (IEX, SEC, Affinity, IMAC, HIC, MMC) and aqueous conditions. Due to the bioinert environment and minimal dead volumes, the column is perfectly suitable for the separation of biomolecules (e.g. proteins, oligonucleotides or nucleic acids).
