Hybrid silica based column and ideal first choice for method development.

YMC-Triart C18 is an organic/inorganic hybrid silica particle derivatized with C18 (L1 USP designation). It is manufactured using state-of-the-art technologies that define materials, granulation, and surface modification. This results in a product that exhibits superior peak shape and chemical durability, even at high temperatures and wide pH ranges.

YMC-Triart C18 is designed to retain both moderate hydrogen bonding capacity and hydrophobicity on the surface by optimizing the bonding density of the C18 phase. This allows it to be used for the analysis of polar compounds under 100% aqueous mobile phase conditions.

Characteristics

  • Superior peak shape and chemical durability
  • Wide pH and temperature range
  • 100% aqueous stable (no phase de-wetting for reversed phase)
  • Available from UHPLC to preparative particle sizes

Applications

Typical applications include: acidic, neutral, basic compounds, medium polar compounds, peptides, small molecules, oligonucleotides, amino acids, APIs, sugars

Available in particle sizes of 7, 10, 15, and 20 µm, YMC-Triart Prep C18-S allows for effortless method transfer from analytical to preparative. Even at larger scale, separation is proven to remain consistent across all particle sizes. In addition to a wide pH range of 2 – 10 for normal use, the resin can withstand up to a pH of 12 for column cleaning. This allows for more efficient cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures and even the use of alkaline.

YMC-Triart Prep C18-S is available in analytical and preparative columns or in bulk resin quantities.
