True reversed phase selectivity for analysis of pharmaceuticals and basic compounds.

YMCbasic is a unique reversed-phase column designed for analysis of pharmaceuticals and basic compounds. Innovative silica synthesis and state-of-the-art silane bonding result in a chromatographic material with neutral silanols. This minimizes interactions with both basic and acidic compounds.

With so few secondary retention interactions, YMCbasic offers true reversed-phase selectivity. It delivers the high resolution and excellent peak shape that are typically difficult to obtain when analyzing basic analytes.

Characteristics

  • Superior separation of basic compounds including pharmaceutical products
  • Evaluated as a base-deactivated phase in Europe and the U.S.
  • Suitable for separating peptides with molecular weights in the thousands, such as insulin

Applications

Typical applications include: basic molecules, anilines, alkaloids, antidepressants
