Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for sales order entry and management and after-sales customer support, maintaining high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
-
Performs sales order entry in ERP System. Maintains all documentation related to sales orders, quotes and proposals. May prepare required sales reports.

Maintains required product inventory levels.
-
Responds to customer inquiries promptly regarding product, shipping, order status etc. via phone and email. Refers customer to technical support as needed and may escalate issues to Sales Manager.

Serves as liaison to distributors and provides price list updates.
-
Interfaces with Finance as needed for order tracking, invoicing and payment resolution.
-
May assist with the creation and updating of ISO department related procedures.

Processes customer payments.
-
May assist with updating price lists and part number lists.
-
Performs a variety of other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Ability to establish a solid working relationship with senior level management and technical staff.
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on multiple, simultaneous projects.
-
High level organization skills.
-
Self-directed – Objective directed.
Required Experience and Knowledge
-
3+ years of related customer service experience in a technical sales/marketing environment.
-
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
-
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Preferred Skill and Experience
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
