A Lot Happening at PREP 2024!
At PREP in Philadephia, PA, YMC announced our new HT Glass Columns, capable of performing efficiently at temperatures up to 70 °C! They are compatible with all standard separation modes including normal phase, reversed phase, and ion-exchange chromatography.
Our crew at the PREP Symposium in Philadelphia kept very busy extoling the advantages of these new columns. What a great crowd!
J Preston, PhD, presented a luncheon workshop titled An Overview of Twin-Column Prep Chromatography Techniques at the PREP Symposium. There was a lot of engagement and interesting conversations. Thank you, J for another great job!

Making Peptide Purification Green without Forfeiting Productivity.
While green solvents like ethanol and DMC are better for the planet, they typically suffer from lower chromatographic resolution in traditional setups. This has resulted in a trade-off of choosing sustainability, or choosing high yield.
The whitepaper Counter-Current Chromatography Enables Use of Green Solvents for Productive Peptide Purification Processes shows how using Multi-column Counter-current Solvent Gradient Purification (MCSGP) can overcome the inefficiencies of eco-friendly mobile phases.

Optimizing Liquid Chromatography for Vitamin Analysis
Vitamins play a critical role in human health, serving as precursors to vital coenzymes, supporting metabolic pathways, and offering widespread benefits across the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic industries. However, analyzing water-soluble vitamins such as the B-complex group and Vitamin C, presents unique challenges for analytical chemists.
