LPLC (low-pressure liquid chromatography) LPLC is the cornerstone to production of therapeutics in the biopharmaceutical industry.
YMC LPLCs are able to be employed in the capture step (e.g., Protein A) as well as polishing steps (e.g., AEX/CEX). LPLC enables the purification of drugs from oligonucleotides to larger molecules such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and vaccines.
For decades, YMC has designed, engineered, automated, manufactured, and serviced LPLC systems from 0.1 mL/min to over 60 LPM capacity for many of the world’s leading biopharmas. These systems can be supplied as conventional single-column batch skids or as YMC’s leading twin-column continuous systems. YMC supplies standard platforms and works with customers who need custom designs.
Our systems are fabricated to ASME/ BPE standards and comply with most regional standards (e.g., UL, CE, CSA, etc.). Our control systems are PLC-based and enable use in GMP environments using our in-house software or as custom systems adaptable to third-party software (e.g., Emerson DeltaV). Full customer-guided FAT services in our manufacturing facility and on-site support are available.
