Ultra-pure Silica-based C18

YMC-Pack Pro C8 columns give excellent peak shape with basic compounds due to the advanced endcapping technology employed to reduce residual silanol activity.  Surface hydrophobicity is lower than that of ODS, making Pro C8 useful for fast analysis of compounds of greatly differing hydrophobic properties.  Pro C8 can also be useful for separation of hydrophilic and planar compounds in cases where resolution is hard to achieve on ODS materials.
