YMC-Pack CN: YMC-Pack CN is a versatile stationary phase that can be used in both normal phase and reversed phase modes. It exhibits normal phase retention behavior when used with low-polarity mobile phases such as hexane. Since the cyano phase is less polar than bare silica, retention times are typically shorter in comparison.
YMC-Pack Diol-NP: Diol-NP is a versatile alternative to silica for normal phase separations. This phase is typically used in normal phase mode with low-polarity mobile phases but can also be used in HILIC mode using traditional reversed-phase solvents (organic/water). In normal-phase mode, it exhibits different selectivity when compared to bare silica and can be useful when an alternate selectivity is needed.
YMC-Pack NH2 (Amino): YMC-Pack NH2 is a normal-phase column that utilizes the polarity of primary amino groups, and is often used for separations involving sugars. This phase can also be used for weak anion exchange separations.
YMC-Pack Polyamine II: YMC-Pack Polyamine II is a silica-based packing material bonded with polyamine and is particularly useful for sugar separations. Column lifetime in aqueous mobile phases is longer than conventional silica-based amino columns, and therefore is applicable for oligosaccharide separations using mobile phases containing relatively high water content.
YMC-Pack PA-G: YMC-Pack PA-G consists of polyamine bonded to a silica gel base and is useful for the separation of acidic oligosaccharides.
YMC-Pack PVA-Sil: YMC-Pack PVA-Sil is bonded with a monomolecular polymer coating of vinyl alcohol (PVA) which completely covers both external and internal surface of the silica support. This protects it against aggressive, high pH buffers and solvents. The PVA polymer shell deactivates the silica support and provides a hydrophilic surface. This phase is also well-suited for SFC separations.
YMC-Pack SIL: The YMC-Pack SIL is useful for separations involving oil-soluble compounds using non-polar mobile phases, as well as separations of positional isomers that are difficult to separate in reversed-phase mode. SIL-06 (60Å pore) has greater absorption properties than SIL-12 (120Å pore) due to its larger surface area, and is generally useful for separating natural products of low molecular weight.
YMC-Triart Diol-HILIC: YMC-Triart Diol-HILIC is a hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) column based on our Triart organic/inorganic hybrid-silica particle bonded with dihydroxypropyl (Diol) functional groups. This phase is ideal for separations involving extremely polar compounds that are not retained on traditional reversed-phase materials. The hybrid nature of the base particle gives this phase greater durability and a wide pH range of 2-10.
YMC-Triart SIL: YMC-Triart SIL consists of a bare organic/inorganic hybrid silica particle and can be used in both normal phase as well as HILIC modes. The nature of the Triart particle makes this phase extremely durable, and it can also be useful for SFC separations.
