Polysaccharide Chiral Phases: Cellulose-SJ
YMC Chiral ART Polysaccharide Phases exhibit high stereoselectivity. They are suitable for separations of a wide range of chiral compounds, cis-trans isomers, and geometric isomers. Amylose and Cellulose phases are available in two types:
- Coated Phase – with familiar separation behavior.
- Immobilized Phase – exhibits similar separation behavior, while broadening separation flexibility by enabling the use of a wider range of solvents.
Specifically, YMC Chiral Art Cellulose-SJ is an immobilized-type polysaccharide stationary phase [Cellulose tris(4-methylbenzoate) selector]. Immobilized-type chiral columns are typically more rugged and offer a wider range of usable mobile phase solvents than coated-type chiral phases. Guards for these columns are available in 5um particle size.
